The code seems to be useless. When turned to the left, it opens without the code. When turned to the right, it will not open even when the code is placed. what’s wrong? (always unlock? does not lock?)

Please turn the outside knob clockwise or counterclockwise to check whether the latch moves. If the latch can only move in one direction, it means the installation is wrong. When the spindle is inserted into the latch, make sure the “THIS SIDE UP” side is facing up

During installation, the angle of the spindle is wrong, which causes this problem for you. Please reinstall(refer to install video on youtobe).

Someone tried to crack my code, how can I stop it?

The code digits are set longer, and you can also use reserved commands to set a limit on the number of attempts.

5 times wrong code input, the lock will be disabled for 3 minutes :

No motor noise after code correct?

Please run the self-diagnosis command: ✅9 ✅Master code ✅1 ✅7890✅ check,9,check,master code,check,1,check,7890,check. You will hear continuous buzzing and motor noise. if no motor noise , try turning the knob left and right quickly when it beeping. If the motor noise can be heard, it indicates that it has returned to normal. Run it for 2-3minutes or more, then press any key to exit the self-diagnosis program. If you still cannot hear the motor noise, please contact customer service.

Why is it beeping after keypad light off?
The battery may be low. Please replace the battery.

I can’t seem to get the keys to work?

Twist the inside door handle and open the door. Make sure that the door knob twists easily and the latch assembly is not binding against the strike plate. If this is okay, insert your key on the outside and twist. The first quarter turn should be very easy. After that you are retracting the latch by the force you apply with the key. It takes a little bit of effort. Twisting the knob at the same time you are turning the key helps a little too.

The lock doesn’t work?

Try to use USB (C-type) power supply

Try replacing the battery or using the backup battery. If the lock still does not work, contact customer support.

Why can’t I open the door?

You may be waiting too long to open the door. After entering a code,
turn the handle to open the door while the lock LED light green. Once it the LED light off, the lock will return to locked

I forgot all my codes.

The lock must undergo a hard reset in order to set the master code back to default and erase all
other codes. In order to perform a hard reset, you must have access to the back (inside) of the door.

Press and hold the reset button for 7 seconds or more until you hear a long beep. it means reset successfully.

(The reset button is next to the cable connector of the battery compartment, IU20,IU30,IU40)

What is the most suitable spindle length for IU32(IU22)?

It is recommended that the spindle be the same length as the door thickness with a 1/4 inch tolerance.
If the spindle length is 1-3/4 inches, the door thickness is from 1-1/2 inches to 2 inches(if silicone gasket installed, reduce 1/8 inch).
Note that if installing silicone gasket, the door thickness should be 1/8 inch more than the actual door thickness.

After the Exterior Assembly are completely inserted into the latch, the latch will not move when the handle is turned, which means that the second step is installed correctly. If in this state, the external handle can drive the latch, it means that the angle of the square tube is wrong. The square tube can be rotated left-middle-right. Please keep it in the middle(Horizontal). Then insert it into the latch.

1,How to use IU-20,IU-30,IU-40 door knob in low temperature environment?
IU-20 can work to -30 degrees Celsius, but please do not use common alkaline batteries below 0 degrees Celsius,
please use 1.5 Volt Ultimate Lithium AA Battery, such as L91 series Ultimate Lithium AA Battery.

2,How to use IU-20, IU-30,IU-40 for outdoor?

Our keypad door knob (IU-20, IU-30, IU-40)is primarily designed for bedroom or entry doors, and we have made efforts to increase its reliability by applying a waterproof coating on the internal circuit board.

Although our advertisement indicates that it can be used outdoors, please note that it is not specifically designed for outdoor use and has limited outdoor capabilities.

In order to improve its waterproof performance, special treatment is required when installing the lock’s inner knob for outdoor use.

For outdoor installation, please note the following:

1. The USB plug at the bottom of the outside knob must be removed to avoid water accumulation inside the outside knob.

2. The battery spring of the inside knob needs to be coated with grease to avoid corrosion of the battery spring due to water leakage of the battery.

3. It is necessary to check whether the battery of the inside knob is flooded within one week after the rainstorm.

Regarding waterproof grade, it is a professional issue, and we have designed it with an IPX5 waterproof grade.

However, the Mediterranean climate in Los Angeles is prone to heavy rain, which can exceed the IPX5 grade.

We advise customers to check and promptly drain any water that may enter the lock after heavy rain.

3,Can IU-20 work for fance gate?
Can not be used for fence gates, please use IU-32 or IU-22 double sided door lock.

4,Where can I find the serial number, what’s it made for?
The serial number is unique. It is printed on the label of the battery compartment (IU-20, IU-30, IU-40), and the serial number of IU-32 is printed on the label of the battery cover. IU-32 has two serial numbers, representing the outside knob serial number and the inside knob serial number. The serial number can be used to track your after-sales service or register remote code.

After using for a period of time, IU-20, IU-30 always lock or always unlock( light green no motor noise can’t unlock, or always unlock), how to fix it,after fix, the life can be extended to more than 20 years.
